WHO WE ARE Proxima Fusion is Europe’s fastest-growing fusion company and the continent’s best-funded fusion player, as well as the first spin-out from the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics (IPP). Backed by over €650M and powered by a growing team across Munich, Zurich, and Oxford, we are developing the hardware and infrastructure needed to deliver the world’s first commercial stellarator fusion power plant. YOUR IMPACT Identify high-friction workflows across engineering, operations, and business teams and turn them into automation opportunities Design and deploy AI-driven automations that eliminate bottlenecks organization-wide Ship working solutions fast, iterating directly with the teams who use them Apply the latest AI tooling (LLMs, agents, integrations) to real challenges, not demos Help shape how an entire fusion company adopts AI in its daily work WHAT YOU WILL DO Design and implement sophisticated automation architectures using tools like n8n, LangGraph and Python, integrating LLM capabilities into the core of Proxima’s business and technical operations. Orchestrate our ecosystem by integrating AI workflows with existing data sources and tools, including Google Drive, Slack, project management software, and meeting infrastructure. Deploy and manage AI-driven microservices on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), utilizing Cloud Run, Vertex AI, and Vector Databases. Develop and optimize agentic workflows that leverage REST APIs, MCP…
