Together, we're improving health and improving lives. LabCorp is seeking an Imaging Clerk to join our team in Charlotte, NC. Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday 4pm-1am Job Responsibilities: Scan, index, and upload medical records and documents into the electronic imaging system Ensure accuracy and proper categorization of all scanned files Review documents for completeness, clarity, and quality before imaging Retrieve and distribute electronic records as requested by authorized personnel Maintain compliance with HIPAA and other privacy regulations Perform data entry and maintain logs for tracking documents Assist with quality control audits to ensure imaging system integrity Handle incoming and outgoing records, including preparation for scanning Troubleshoot basic scanner or system issues and escalate when needed Maintain organized physical and electronic filing systems Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications: 1 year or more experience in a medical administrative or medical Imaging setting Knowledge of medical terminology Occasional lifting of files or boxes (up to 20-30 lbs) Additional Job Standards: Detail-oriented and accurate Time management and multitasking skills Problem-solving abilities Dependability and accountability Sitting or standing for extended periods of time The Imaging Clerk is responsible for digitizing, organizing, and maintaining patient records and other documents within an imaging or electronic document management system.
