What You'll Do: Our Data Centre Operations team is at the physical core of our business, responsible for building, maintaining, and operating the cutting-edge infrastructure that powers the cloud. This team ensures the stability, security, and scalability of our physical assets, working hands-on in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment. You will join a collaborative and curious group that is essential to delivering a best-in-class experience for our clients. About the role: As the Data Centre Manager, you will be the on-site leader responsible for the operational excellence of our Glasgow facility. In this hands-on leadership role, you will guide a team of technicians through hardware diagnostics, physical repairs, and new equipment installations while implementing best practices to maximise uptime. You will serve as the primary point of contact for all on-site activities, coordinating with cross-functional teams to respond to technical emergencies and ensure the reliability of our critical infrastructure. Your work will directly influence the performance, scalability, and operational maturity of the site. Who You Are: 5+ years of experience in data centre operations, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role. In-depth knowledge of data centre infrastructure, including servers, networking equipment, and cooling systems. Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues. Proficiency with the Linux Operating System. Experience with data centre management tools and software. Excellent time management, organisational, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to lead a team.
