The Opportunity At Superhuman, we are consolidating billing, checkout, and payments ownership across all Superhuman business units: Docs, Go, Grammarly, and Mail, into a single Monetization Platform. As Engineering Manager of the Checkout & Payments team, you will lead the team responsible for how every Superhuman customer pays us: checkout experiences, fraud prevention, payment method integrations, and the reliability of our checkout and payments infrastructure. This is a founding-moment role. You are joining as we migrate from multiple fragmented billing systems to a single, unified stack and build a configurable checkout platform that enables any Superhuman product team to launch new checkout experiences with speed and at scale. You will own a broad charter, partner closely with product and engineering leads across all business units, and drive execution on some of the most business-critical infrastructure in the company.
