You’ve run month-end, the balance sheet, and financial controls end to end, and you know what good controls look like in both complex and fast-growing environments. You stay calm under pressure, explain finance simply to people outside it, and you’re always looking for smarter, more automated ways of working. What you'll do You’ll run Flagstone’s day-to-day core finance operations, making sure our numbers are accurate, controlled, and on time. Reporting to the Finance Director, you’ll own the month-end close, the balance sheet, and day-to-day financial control, while our FP&A team owns planning and forecasting. As the Finance Director’s right hand, you’ll run the detail so they can focus on supporting the CFO, the Board, and commercial decisions. It’s a hands-on role that will grow in scope and complexity as Flagstone scales. This will include: Running the month-end close end to end and delivering accurate, timely management accounts Keeping a clean, fully supported balance sheet, with reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and journals in order Making sure direct-to-consumer and business revenue is recorded accurately, with commercial terms in contracts correctly reflected in revenue and c…
