Role: Forward Deployed AI Engineer Location: Bristol HQ – Hybrid Model & Travel across EMEA region Salary: DOE We are looking for an experienced AI Forward Deployed Engineer to lead the design, delivery and scaling of high-impact AI solutions for strategic customers. This is a senior, hands-on technical role for someone who thrives at the intersection of software engineering, applied AI and customer problem-solving. You will turn complex and often ambiguous business challenges into secure, scalable and commercially viable AI solutions, taking ownership from early discovery and rapid prototyping through to production deployment. You will work directly with partners and customers as a senior technical contributor, working alongside Solution Architects and multidisciplinary teams to make pragmatic technical decisions and solve difficult implementation problems. This is an individual-contributor technical leadership role, with significant influence but no formal line-management responsibility. Responsibilities Lead the technical delivery of complex AI engagements, owning implementation, deployment approach, technical risk and engineering priorities. Work directly with customers and senior stakeholders to translate ambiguous business challenges into practical AI solutions. Rapidly prototype, test and iterate AI solutions with customers to validate assumptions, feasibility and value. Design, build and deploy production-grade generative AI, agentic and other applied AI solutions.
