Inventory Specialists assist in ensuring that pharmacy operations run smoothly; patients' prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately; and that the team is providing caring service that exceeds patient expectations, both as a contributor and as a participant-leader. More specifically, Inventory Specialists build upon the skills and responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician, coordinating and monitoring inventory management activities, while leading with example and coaching the team to execute against best practices. Inventory Specialists operate as part of the pharmacy team through consistent application of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), best practices, and effective communication. Throughout their shifts and in all customer and colleague interactions, they demonstrate genuine care and contribute to a safe and inclusive culture where all people feel valued and empowered.An Invento…
