We are looking for a IT-System Administrator Web Hosting (Linux) (m/f/x) for our Eschborn location as soon as possible. Tasks As an experienced system administrator in the modern and exciting environment at Samsung SDS Europe Ltd German Branch, in addition to the diverse daily tasks to ensure the smooth operation of customer systems, you will also be responsible for providing advice and assessing interesting projects. Communication within the team and with international customers is just as much a part of your activities as reporting to the relevant managers. Maintaining the system and updating the services is just as much a part of your tasks as the maintenance of the databases and the expansion and conversion of the system landscape. Your Area of Responsibility: Administration of Linux and MS Windows based servers & services Installation and setup of web applications and database servers based on customer requirements Setting up customer applications based on customer guidelines Experience with web stack technologies (HTTP, web servers, reverse proxy, loadbalacing) Strong understanding of OS-level security (Linux/Windows) Setup and administration of Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL and MSSQL databases Build, Manage, and optimize containerized environment using Docker Automate configuration management, deployment, and orchestration using Ansible Control, analysis and reporting of the performance and volume of the server infrastructure Ensuring the integrity and security of systems and applications through the strict technical implementation of internal security guidelines Regular reporting according to the respective escalation level based on the problem management metric Requirements Your Pr…
