Reporting to our Head of Commercial Legal or a Senior Legal Counsel, you will have a chance to help shape the company's legal function, build processes and policies, and partner with Sales, Finance, Product, and Engineering teams, as well as other attorneys. Job Responsibilities • Advise on a broad range of commercial matters, serving as legal partner to Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Security, and Product on deal structure, contract negotiations, risk, and compliance • Review, draft, negotiate, and interpret a wide range of technology and commercial contracts, including SaaS agreements, partner/reseller agreements, NDAs, evaluation agreements, and vendor contracts • Independently identify and resolve legal and regulatory risks related to IP, licensing, data use, privacy, and compliance in commercial contracts • Become an expert on Socure's products and business models, and help bring new offerings to market • Identify and advise on risk, and offer creative, pragmatic risk-mitigation solutions • Prepare, maintain, and improve template agreements, playbooks, and operational guidance to help the sales and legal teams move faster • Use…
