Job description

We’re looking for a Legal Counsel to join GetGround’s Legal, Risk & Compliance team, giving practical, commercially minded legal and regulatory advice as we scale. You’ll advise on commercial contracts, product questions, partnerships, regulatory matters and disputes, and work on projects that strengthen the function as the business grows. You’ll be a trusted partner to teams across GetGround and a key part of how we manage risk day to day. The Opportunity GetGround operates at the intersection of fintech, proptech and wealthtech. You'll play a central role in keeping the business legally sound, moving quickly, and operating with integrity. This would be a great opportunity for a lawyer who wants to work on genuinely varied, interesting matters in a collaborative and supportive environment, with opportunities to learn and grow What You'll Be Doing Commercial and Contracts Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including supplier agreements, partnership contracts, and customer terms Advise business teams on contractual risk and help them make informed decisions quickly Maintain and improve GetGround's contract templates, playbooks, and standard terms Support the management of external counsel on matters requiring specialist input Product and Regulatory Provide legal input on new product features, customer journeys, and platform changes Advise on FCA regulatory requirements as they apply to GetGround's products and services Support compliance reviews of customer-facing content and regulated communications Help track relevant regulatory developments and flag implications for the business Corporate and General Legal Support on corporate matters including fundraising, corporate governance, and company secretarial work Advise on data protection and privacy matters, including GDPR compliance Provide general legal support across the business on employment, IP,…
