About the Team The Walmart US Central Merchandise FP&A team plays a critical role in forecasting, planning, and analyzing Walmart US sales and gross profit. We work closely with the Merchandising organization and other finance teams to provide insights and transparency into our financial performance. The associate in this role will be responsible for the Walmart US sales forecast. Your contributions will be vital in helping us navigate and optimize our sales performance. What you'll do... Work closely with the Merchandising organization to understand topline risks and opportunities. Develop sales, units, and order forecasts across various channels and departments. Communicate with senior and executive leadership frequently to recap recent sales performance and provide a perspective on our future performance. Complete ad hoc requests related to the underlying drivers of sales performance. Partner closely with Walmart US finance teams to drive transparency about topline performance and influence key decisions. Support the quarterly earnings process with key information about the underlying drivers of sales performance. Lead transformational workstreams related to how the Walmart US sales forecast comes together. What youll bring: Strong experience in sales analysis and forecasting. Ability to work cross-functionally and understand topline risks and opportunities. Excellent communication skills for frequent interactions with senior and executive leadership. Proficiency in completing ad hoc requests related to sales performance. Capability to partner with finance teams to drive transparency and influence decisions. Experience supporting the quarterly earnings process with detailed sales performance insights. Leadership in transformational workstreams to improve sales forecasting processes.
