Job description

About Ramp Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books. The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving. We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome. The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same. If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it. This is a standalone, high-accountability compliance leadership role: you will own Ramp Canada’s AML program end to end, act as the primary point of contact for FINTRAC and Ramp’s financial partners in the region, and serve as the gatekeeper protecting Ramp's Canadian entity from financial crime. What You'll Do Serve as RBCC's MLRO, with authority over AML/ATF program design, execution, and effectiveness Act as primary regulatory contact with FINTRAC, managing supervisory correspondence, reporting, and exam readiness Make STR (Suspicious Transaction Report) filing determinations and file STRs Run day-to-day transaction monitoring and sanctions screening triage and investigation for the Canadian book -Own and maintain RBCC's AML/ATF risk assessment, refreshing it as products, geography, and risk profile evolve (including Quebec's onboarding) Develop, document, and deliver RBCC's ongoing compliance training program Define and stand up the operational workstreams for Canada, including case types, SLAs, escalation paths, tooling.
