Where the nights are vibrant, Sundays are for relaxing. The Job We are currently seeking a skilled waiter to join our team at MR PORTER Amsterdam. As a waiter, you will be responsible for providing our guests with an exceptional dining experience. This role requires an individual who is passionate about hospitality, attentive to detail, and possesses excellent communication skills. Video of our brand: THE ENTOURAGE GROUP VIDEO Responsibilities Taking orders: Waiters are responsible for taking guests' food and drink orders and adding them to the till system, answering any questions they may have and making recommendations based on the menu/guests' preferences. Providing customer service: Waiters are responsible for providing high-quality guest service, answering questions, resolving issues, and making sure guests have a positive dining experience. Serving food and drinks: Waiters are responsible for serving food and drinks to guests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that orders are accurate and properly prepared with an accurate description. Ensure a safe dining experience for all guests by effectively communicating and addressing allergies. Effectively address and resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction. Handling payments: Waiters are responsible for processing payments from guests, including calculating bills, handling cash and credit card transactions, and making change. Cleaning and setting tables : Waiters are responsible for cleaning and setting tables before and after guests leave, ensuring that the dining area is clean and organized. Requirements Communication skills: Waiters must have strong communication skills and be able to interact with guests in a friendly, professional manner.
