The Role BW ESS is seeking a Senior Finance Manager, Germany to take finance ownership of its German BESS portfolio across construction, operations, transactions and financial reporting. This is a broad, hands-on role combining strong financial control with commercial finance, portfolio management and transaction support. You will act as the principal finance partner to the German business, working closely with Development, Construction, Asset Management, Strategic Finance, Treasury and Tax, as well as JV partners, lenders and external advisers. What You’ll Do Construction finance. Take finance ownership of projects through the construction phase, including oversight of project budgets, expenditure, cash requirements and capital drawdowns. You will ensure project costs are properly tracked, allocated and reported, with clear visibility of performance against budget and investment case. Investment and project support. Support project teams and Strategic Finance with FID materials, financial analysis and other investment decision-making.
