As we continue to improve the pace and breadth of our reporting, we are looking for a highly experienced accounting professional to join our team as we build the Finance function of the future. Reporting to the Director of Group Reporting, the successful candidate will provide accounting advice under IFRS globally across all functions. The role will be responsible for the preparation and review of internal accounting policy guidance, liaising with external auditors, the preparation of Checkout.com ’s Group financial statements, global share-based payments expense and communicating accounting outcomes and requirements to senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, possess strong technical skills, have meticulous attention to detail, always act with integrity and demonstrate the range of expertise required to produce high quality financial information. How you’ll make an impact: Provide accounting advice on a range of IFRS topics including revenue recognition, financial instruments, software capitalisation, leases and impairment. As the lead of the Technical Accounting team you will provide oversight on the calculation of complex global accounting topics. Lead the determination of group accounting policies and the development and maintenance of internal guidance manuals, including running the accounting decisions for new products and geographic expansion.
