About The Role The Senior People Operations Specialist is a key member of Volta's People Operations team, responsible for delivering a seamless, compliant and high-quality employee experience across the entire employee lifecycle. Reporting to the Head of People Operations, this hands-on role ensures the smooth execution of hiring, onboarding, employee changes, leave management, payroll administration and offboarding for a rapidly growing international workforce. We are looking for an experienced People Operations professional who understands the complexities of supporting a global workforce, thrives in a fast-paced scaling environment, and is passionate about building operational excellence. Alongside delivering day-to-day People Operations, you will identify opportunities to simplify and automate processes, document scalable ways of working, strengthen compliance and controls, and help build a world-class People Operations function capable of supporting Volta's continued international growth. What You Will Be Doing Deliver the operational execution of the end-to-end employee lifecycle across all jurisdictions, including offers, contracts, onboarding, employee changes, family leave, absence, probation, promotions and offboarding Prepare high-quality employment documentation, including contracts, contract amendments, side letters and termination documentation, using approved templates and escalating complex or non-standard cases Coordinate global immigration and right-to-work processes, including maintaining records required to meet UK Sponsor License obligations and supporting visa compliance across other jurisdictions Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers on People Operations policies, processes,…
