Your main goal will be to make n8n's Core Platform ready for the company's next stage of growth: more scalable, reliable, secure, and flexible as customer usage and technical complexity increase. You'll own the foundations that everything else, including our AI and agent capabilities, is built on. To do so, here are your responsibilities: OWN THE CORE PLATFORM STRATEGY & ROADMAP Define and communicate the product strategy and roadmap for the Core Platform in partnership with Engineering and Product leadership. Prioritize foundational investments based on customer impact, enterprise needs, technical risk, and engineering effort, and make trade-offs between near-term customer needs, technical debt, and long-term architecture explicit. Lead product discovery for technically complex problems, engaging directly with enterprise customers and internal customer-facing teams. SCALABILITY, RELIABILITY & EXECUTION ENGINE Drive work on the scalability and reliability of n8n's execution engine, including areas like worker pools and distributed execution.
