As part of our Clickout-to-Revenue team, you work at the core of our business model: retailers pay for qualified referrals (“clickouts”) to their shops. Your work ensures that this monetization runs in a technically sound, high-performing, and transparent way – making a significant contribution to idealo’s growth. The position is available in full or part-time. About your new role End-to-End Ownership You develop and operate business and web applications running in the AWS Cloud. Together with your team, you take full responsibility across the entire value chain (YBYO): architecture, infrastructure, development, testing, security, deployment, monitoring, on-call duty, and maintenance. Product Focus: Monetization Processes and Services You develop services that support how our business models are processed and billed. Key components include the Odoo ERP system, internal tools for master data management, and interfaces to Salesforce and SAP. Innovative business models require innovative solutions. That is why you work closely with stakeholders such as our accounting department, sales team, account management, and other cross-functional engineering teams. Technical Excellence You actively contribute ideas to improve processes, care deeply about code quality, and continuously develop your skills. Skills & Requirements Must-haves 7+ years of experience in web application development, including at least 5 years working with Kotlin/Java. Strong knowledge of AWS architecture and Infrastructure as Code, for example with Terraform. Solid knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, as well as event messaging, event streaming, and asynchronous communication, for example with Aiven Kafka. You think in end-to-end ownership and can communicate technical concepts clearly, including to non-technical stakeholders. You enjoy working in a team, sharing knowledge, giving constructive feedback, and actively contributing through pair programming, code reviews, and collaborative problem-solving. You have the confidence to speak up and challenge ideas constructively, paired with an openness to different perspectives. Nice-to-have Experience in ERP, accounting, or finance environments.
