Description As an EMC Design Engineer, you will evaluate, design, and optimize EMC solutions for Apple products. You will be responsible for ensuring that products meet EMC requirements and regulations. In this role, you will combine technical expertise with innovation-conducting design reviews to assess potential risks, creating comprehensive test plans, and analyzing results to guide problem-solving. - You will think systematically about products as integrated designs, understanding how individual components and subsystems contribute to overall EMC performance. - You will work collaboratively with design teams, test engineers, and cross-functional partners to develop and implement solutions. - You will contribute to your team's collective knowledge by sharing best practices and lessons learned across projects, supporting first pass success on future designs. - Your analysis of test data and design reviews will inform recommendations to peers and management. Responsibilities: Review mechanical designs of enclosures, connectors, and cables for EMC compliance Review printed circuit board (PCB) schematics and layouts for emissions and immunity control Partner with our vendors on defining component specifications and validation procedures to meet EMC requirements at the system level.
