You will report directly to the Chief Data and Technology Officer. Ongoing Monitoring protects our members by detecting fraud, financial crime and regulatory risk across every transaction Tide processes. The engineering, data science and platform capability behind it is one of the most technically demanding estates at Tide. You will be accountable for the engineering strategy, organisation and execution across all Ongoing Monitoring value streams: real-time transaction monitoring for bank payments fraud, acquiring fraud, Anti Money Laundering, Counter Terrorist Financing, sanctions and prohibited activities monitoring, and the tooling our financial investigators depend on. That means ML models in production, agentic AI inside regulated workflows, and multi-market screening infrastructure that stands up to regulatory scrutiny.
