Working Student - People Operations (all genders)

We are looking for a Working Student to support our People & Culture team. This role is ideal for someone interested in HR administration, employee experience, and gaining hands-on insight into the dynamic world of Human Resources in a fast-paced environment. Working closely with our Associate Director of People & Culture and People Operations Manager, you will contribute to various tasks across the employee lifecycle and have the opportunity to make an impact on a wide range of People & Culture projects. Job Responsibilities Assist with ad hoc administrative tasks, such as drafting contracts and preparing HR-related documents (e.g., confirmation letters, visa documents, invitations) Keep our HRIS (HiBob) data fresh and accurate, from updating employee details to uploading and organising essential documents Support payroll documentation, benefits management, and onboarding/offboarding processes Contribute to special HR projects, including performance management reviews and feedback training initiatives Manage and maintain knowledge resources on the JustPlay company intranet Collaborate with the rest of the People & Culture team to enhance the overall employee experience at JustPlay Job Requirements You are currently pursuing a university degree in a related field (e.g., International Management, Psychology, Human Resources Management) You have at least 1 year of professional experience, ideally in a start-up environment, with an understanding of German legal regulations Ideally, you are based in Berlin and can work from the office 2 days per week You have excellent communication skills in English; German is a strong plus You are familiar with Google Workspace and management tools such as Asana and Notion You are highly organized, self-disciplined, reliable, and detail-oriented You have an analytical mindset and the ability to support dashboard creation and track key HR metrics Job Benefits Work-Life Balance and Flexibility : Flexible working hours and options for digital nomads, occasional office visitors, or regular office-goers Mental Health Support : Free personal coaching through our partner nilo.health to support our team members to live fulfilled lives at home and at work Training & Development : Free language courses Germany-Based Benefits : 25 vacation days (based on a 5-day work week) and free Wellhub gold subscription State-of-the-Art Equipment :…
